Engineers' Club of Memphis

The Engineers' Club of Memphis is a 120+ member, nonprofit, professional society which exists to promote the practice of engineering in the Mid-South through:

• Weekly Professional Development Meetings

• MJEC Engineer’s Week (February 21 – 27, 2027)

• Engineering Scholarships ($19,305 since 2022)

• Grants to Local Student Organizations ($28,250 since 2022)

 

The Club offers Professional Development Meetings by Zoom most Mondays at Noon. Guests are always welcome.

Mike McDaniel PE, our Program Director for November, serves as the Client Service Leader for Barge Design Solutions. He previously held senior engineering positions in engineering companies, utility providers, and the City of Southaven, MS, where he served as the Director of Public Works and as the Chief Building Official. He earned a BS in Social Studies/Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and an MS in Engineering Science, Environmental Engineering, from the University of Mississippi. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Mississippi and Tennessee.

• Nov 9: - Adrian Ward PE, Director of Storm Water Solutions, Barge Design Solutions: “Stretching Stormwater Dollars: Smarter Coverage, Faster Decisions in Nashville.” PDH

• Nov 16: Colonel John Morrow, Memphis Engineer District Commander and District Engineer: “Memphis District Update.” PDH

• Nov 23: Andrew Clark PE, Director of Projects, Barge Design Solutions will present: “Complex Sewer Routing Decision Matrix.” PDH
